The construction of an office/distribution facility for FedEx in the Dubuque Industrial Center in western Dubuque included the use of HPS 650, a macro-synthetic fiber. HPS 650 was used in all the interior and exterior concrete that covers an area of approximately 103,000 square feet. HPS 650, at a dosage rate of 5.0 lbs./cubic yard of concrete, meets the concrete specifications that require a minimum residual strength of 250 psi.

FedEx Ground Distribution Center, Dubuque, IA.  The construction of an office/distribution facility for FedEx in the Dubuque Industrial Center in western Dubuque included the use of HPS 650, a macro-synthetic fiber.  HPS 650 was used in all the interior and exterior concrete that covers an area of approximately 103,000 square feet.  HPS 650, at a dosage rate of 5.0 lbs./cubic yard of concrete, meets the concrete specifications that require a minimum residual strength of 250 psi.  Bard Materials supplied the concrete, Weber Construction was the concrete contactor and Ruedebusch Development & Construction, Inc. was the general contractor.  The project was completed in 2013.
